Ingredients:

  • 250g of ground pork
  • 100g of finely chopped cabbage
  • 50g of chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 20 dumpling wrappers

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Steamer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Place a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface and spoon about one tablespoon of the filling in the center.
  • Moisten the edges of the dumpling wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch to seal tightly, ensuring there are no air pockets.
  • Repeat the process for the remaining wrappers and filling.
  • Prepare the steamer by bringing water to a boil. Arrange the dumplings in the steamer basket without overcrowding them.
  • Steam the dumplings for about 4 minutes, or until the filling is cooked through and the wrappers are translucent.
