Ingredients:

  • 200g of beef shank, sliced thinly
  • 150g of fresh wheat noodles
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 4 cups of beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of chili bean paste
  • 1 teaspoon of five spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

Instructions:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over high heat.

  • To serve, place cooked noodles in bowls, ladle the beef soup over the noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil.
