Ingredients:

  • 250g of 00 flour
  • 150ml of water
  • 5g of salt
  • 2g of dried yeast
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 200g of tomato sauce
  • 150g of mozzarella cheese
  • 100g of prosciutto
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven
  • Pizza stone
  • Pizza peel
  • Rolling pin
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to its highest setting and place a pizza stone inside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the 00 flour, dried yeast, and salt. Gradually add the water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Divide the dough into two balls and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Roll out each dough ball into a thin round shape using a rolling pin.
  • Transfer one rolled-out dough onto a pizza peel dusted with flour.
  • Spread 100g of tomato sauce evenly over the base, leaving a small border.
  • Tear mozzarella cheese into pieces and distribute them over the sauce.
  • Add half of the prosciutto on top of the cheese.
  • Slide the pizza onto the hot pizza stone in the oven and bake for 2-3 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  • Repeat the process for the second pizza.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve immediately.
