Unstuffed Shells Pasta Bake

Ingredients:
- 200g of jumbo pasta shells
- 400g of ricotta cheese
- 200g of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g of grated Parmesan cheese
- 300g of tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
- Baking dish
- Stirring spoon
- Saucepan
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Once the pasta shells are cooled, gently mix them with the cheese mixture until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Place the stuffed pasta shells in the baking dish, open side up. Top with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
