Ingredients:

  • 300g of chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 50g of unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill
  • Skewers
  • Mixing bowl
  • Basting brush

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken strips to the marinade and let it sit for a few minutes.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grease it lightly.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, basting with melted butter while cooking, until the chicken is nicely charred and cooked through.
  • Remove from the grill and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
